You're Marketing to a Customer You've Never Actually Studied.

Most marketing fails because it's aimed at an assumption. Real customer insight is the foundation everything else stands on.

Two Fires

Ask most business owners to describe their ideal customer and you will get a demographic. Age. Location. Maybe an income bracket. A job title if you are lucky.

Ask what that customer is actually afraid of. What they have already tried and been burned by. What they say to themselves at eleven at night about this exact problem.

The room goes quiet.
01

The gap that quietly sinks most marketing

You cannot position, message or sell to a customer you have only assumed.

Yet most marketing is built on a guess about who is buying and why, then dressed up as strategy. When it does not work, people blame the channel, the algorithm or the budget. They rarely look at the real fault, which sits further upstream. Nobody actually studied the customer.

Everything downstream inherits that error. The positioning is aimed at the wrong fear. The message answers a question no one was asking. The spend amplifies a miss.

02

What insight actually is

It is not a persona document made up in a workshop. It is the real language, the real fears and the real decision triggers of the person paying you. Tested against how they actually behave, not how you imagine they behave.

Get that right and the rest of marketing becomes almost obvious. Get it wrong and no amount of budget will save you.

03

How we think about it

Fire One · Insight
Insight.

Every framework we use is tested against real consumer behaviour, built over thirty years in the world's most competitive categories.

Fire Two · Engine
Engine.

The engine takes that insight and puts it to work everywhere, at a scale and speed that used to be impossible.

Insight first. Amplification second. Always in that order.

The reframe

If your marketing keeps missing, it may not be the marketing at all. It may be that it is aimed at someone who does not exist.

We start with the customer who actually does. Forty-five minutes, no deck, no pitch.
